A locker bank for a corporate office has different demands from one installed in a manufacturing plant, school, warehouse, gym, or healthcare facility.

Start With the Actual Storage Requirement

The most reliable locker specification begins with an observation of what people need to store. A compact compartment may be sufficient for a phone, wallet, keys, and small personal items. Powder coating provides a durable finish for metal lockers and offers color options for zoning, department identification, or interior design coordination. In high-contact environments, choose finishes that tolerate routine cleaning and resist visible wear. A consistent finish also matters when locker banks are expanded in later project phases.

Ask the supplier how the doors are reinforced, whether edges are safely finished, and how replacement locks or spare parts are handled. These questions reveal whether the product is intended for occasional use or for a facility that operates every day.

Plan the Layout Around Movement

A locker room can have enough storage on paper and still fail in practice. The usual reason is circulation. Users need space to open doors, change clothes, sit, pass one another, and access benches without blocking routes.
